French fashion house Hermès debuted their Fall/Winter 2018 collection and its aesthetics reflect on the brand’s timeless traditions of class.
International creative director, Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski, created the perfect tones for the fearless woman.
Vanhee-Cybulski transformed the Lycée-collège Victor-Duruy into a twilight jungle, using tones of a foggy sky with a sunset. Incorporating the signature Hermès orange aesthetics, sleek leather dresses and coats that were belted securely contrasted well. The collection featured nude tones, classy navies, and olive greens, creating the classic vibe the brand is known for.
Despite the random temperatures in Paris, the show was debuted outside in the gardens for the audience to gain the full experience. Each guest received a cashmere blanket for the cold weather. Thigh boots were unveiled in classy red, olive green, and the signature tangerine seen on Birkins. The brand’s color palette allowed contrast within each piece, including coats at a dress length with stylish gloves as a finishing touch.
The line consisted of aviator modish jackets, quilted details, and dresses in calf skin material. Vanhee-Cybulski highlighted the brand’s luxurious pyramid-shaped stud, making the collection more edgy than usual. Hermès classics were featured as models were styled in the same color pattern head-to-toe. Luxurious fur coats made their debut, trimmed like corduroy, creating a modern-day look along with narrow skirts with thigh slits.
If there’s anyone to detail a woman’s wardrobe, it’s the timeless Parisian wardrobe by the Hermès house.
