HOW TO CHOOSE AN HERMES SCARF

If you didn’t already know, I am a huge Hermes scarf lover and was the scarf specialist at Hermes for many years.

I’ve been following The Vivienne Files Blog as an outlet for my passion. Janice Riggs, the woman behind Vivienne, loves to inspire us by styling Hermes scarves in combinations that women are drawn to.

In one of her recent entries she showcases six different Hermes designs. Each design, conveying a very different mood, allows the viewer to hone into their own personal style and taste. Which one would be your choice?

And the last scarf seemed like it would be happy with sharp geometrics, and a lot of very modern black

Ahh, blue and green

Le Voyage de Pytheas is another scarf that seems to show finely wrought details, this time expressed in warmer tones

To me, Guepards most defining aspect was the finely detailed images in black, white and shades of grey, gently touched with the cloud of rosy pink

In Zebra Pegasus, I was drawn to the idea that the lover of this scarf would love clear, geometric, graphic shapes

De la Mer au Ciel drew my attention to the fluidity of the waves, and the unifying golden beige that runs through the scarf
