Hermès is booming, and has recently taken the fashion world by a storm with its new 2017 collection.
One of the most notable and coveted releases is the Spring/Summer Hermes Runway Bag Collection.
The colorful line was first introduced at La Garde Republicaine in France, with the star of the show being the Cinetic d’Hermès bag. This iconic piece has a box-like structure with a top handle and metal “H” clasp. The Cinetic is now available in standard leather or specialty exotic leathers.
More exquisite pieces emerged from the miniature-chained bag line. Hermès designed these pouches to be worn around the neck, attached to other bags, and even carried by themselves. Another bag featured in the collection is the Toupet Bag. This mini fringed bucket bag is daringly unique, exhibiting vibrant colors made of horsehair.
The central theme of the show was bold, bright, and classy, which was also incorporated throughout the lines clothing. The collection featured a wide variety of pieces, ranging all the way from work to play. Hermès, notorious for their detailed leatherwork, continued to exhibit expertise through skirts, shoes, coats, and of course, handbags. The collection has made a splash in the industry, setting the bar high for this seasons trends!
